Cutting the jacket front from the BACK sweatshirt 'fabric'. Cut as long as possible.

Cut the sleeves from the Sleeve sweatshirt fabric, cutting as long as possible.

Design your creative right front edge with string.

Mark string design line with chalk.  I LOVE the Chakoner marker.

Interfacing is IMPORTANT!

STAY the left front with Knit Fusible Stay Tape.

Using monofilament thread in the needle, polyester thread in the bobbin, and a zigzag set at about 1.5 wide and 3 long, 'tack' the left Front underlap extension on top of the left sweatshirt front.

Wrong side up cut fabric for right Front facing with same shaped edge.

Listen/read closely so you get the interfacing cut the proper way for fusing!

ALWAYS stabilize knit edges before stitching/attaching ANYTHING!
